Observe. Orient. Decide. Act.
In this course, we will introduce you to the neurological underpinnings of the OODA loop, A combat decision making model developed by military strategist and United States Air Force Colonel John Boyd. While what Col. Boyd came up with was revolutionary for it’s combat applications, what Col Boyd wasn’t fully aware of was the neurological implications of his model or how to fully advance it. In this course, we will not only break down the genius of the OODA loop but also some of the modern neuroscience ways to improve your very own OODA loop.
Observation– Do you have the ability to take in sensory information that tells your brain what is happening around you?
Orientation– What does that information mean for you, your health, your safety, and the safety of those you are protecting?
Decision– What are your options for dealing with this situation?
Act– How do you put forth your plan of action in this situation as effectively as possible?
These are the questions we will be answering in this course.
Topics that will be covered include:
Athletic Movement
Vision Training
