PARENTS! Our annual Youth Outdoor Camp is up on the website for registration. 3 Days of wilderness survival based skills with 100% hands-on training.

In this Adventure-Based Skills Day Camp, your child will learn skills that promote independence , critical thinking ,leadership, and most of all, skills to thrive in all types of outdoor situations!
Our annual 3 day camp is designed to teach generations lost skills that could potentially save their life and others and promote critical thinking skills. We follow the 4 rules of Basic Survival Skills and go ABOVE the normal experience of most kids’ camps.

As with each year, we refresh on past camp skills and incorporate new ones to keep students on the toes. We are excited about some of the new skills we will be bringing. We will also be incorporating some regular training days for camp attendees throughout the summer to train on various life-saving and life changing skills(more to come on this)

All our staff are our vetted and trusted people, regular background checks, and every student will keep a battle buddy of their own age with them at all times. Ages 5 to 16 and each group will be broken into their age groups , assigned a camp staff member, and they will learn skills according to their age group and capabilities. Course material is taught by experienced and professional survival instructors with over 50 years combined survival and emergency preparedness experience.

Camp is each day 830am to 3pm and we will meet at the front office at Armed Texans facility. When you pay for the slots it secures the number of children under your name/email and as stated above all registration happens the first morning.

Fees cover instructors , facility, training gear and supplies.

** PLEASE UNDERSTAND REFUNDS ARE NOT GIVEN WITHIN 15 DAYS OF CAMP START*** When you pay for the camp your paypal, venmo or cashapp verification is your receipt, and as stated above all registration and sign in will happen the first morning.

Training is geared towards ages 5 to 16 but you contact us for special circumstances or questions about other ages. WE WILL BE SPLITTING UP AGES  FOR MORE ADVANCED TRAINING FOR OLDER STUDENTS. Each student will be assigned a fellow ” battle buddy ” and 2 camp staff members per age group with male and female staff.

All instructors/interns  have current background checks and vetted through our company. No parents are allowed to stay due to the above reasons.

Parents are not permitted to stay due to safety and security reasons for the camp. As we stated all staff are long term camp instructors that have extensive background checks and the senior staff works in professional security and school safety.

Kids are responsible for their own lunch, water and snacks for the 3 days of training that does not need to be refrigerated. You will need to pre sign up on our website link to secure your child’s spots, we are limiting enrollment this year.

 

Gear needed-

Lunch, Snacks and water for the day,

Small backpack ,closed-toed shoes only and clothing that can get dirty, Sunscreen and bug spray , towel .

Bring refillable water bottle daily and any medications they may need.

Students may also bring a knife ,compass, camp shovel and a small hatchet if they would like. Fixed blade knives and hatchets must have a sheath cover as well as their own ” survival kit ” they may have made themselves.
